Good Saturday morning to y'all. Since last weekend was July 4th, I'm figuring some of you took some pictures...so I'm going to have the theme for this weeks Show Me Saturday be RED, WHITE & BLUE.

I have some pictures of Bree all decked out in her red, white & blue clothing from last weekend. I also have a picture of me wearing her hat being goofy from quite a while back (I was thinner then). I don't really have much story to tell with these pictures, so its just going to be a short post.


I love that pose, its like a "Who me? I didn't do it" kind of look.

Ahhh the good ole days (last year) when I was a bit thinner, and I had easy hair... This year I'm fatter and growing out my pain in the ass hair and hating every second of it.

I didn't get to yesterday's 5 Question Friday yet, I hope to do that later on today...but no promises :P Instead of blogging yesterday I spent my time reading a book and then playing a LONG game of Scrabble with the girls. I got all the crap letters, Q's, Z's, J's, and X's! No fair. It was actually Super Scrabble, so there are more than one of those nasty letters too! We didn't play for scores because I didn't want any sore losers, it was just for fun.

Happy Thursday

Another boring day here at my house. For excitement we went to Wallyworld to pick up a few needed things...ended up spending more then I planned and the girls drove me CRAZY. Why do I torture myself by taking all 3 girls to Wallyworld?! I'll never learn LOL.

I don't have anything exciting to talk about today, nor any pictures...kinda boring. I will share with you a little conversation that I had with Bree outside today though. She has a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe car, but for some reason the stupid earwigs like to go in it and when its moved they start coming out all the cracks and crevices of the car...

Bree: I want to ride in my car!

Me: Well, you can, but be careful, there are probably earwigs and spiders in there.

Bree: And then they will come out and get on me and bite me and I'll get all bloody and have to go to the hospibel and then I'll cry and cry and cry like a maniac?

Me: Uh... yeah... maybeeee

Bree: That would be GROSS!

LOL she is such a nut.

QOTD: Is there anything more special than a mothers love? Even as an adult, IMO there is nothing like the love & support from mom.

Bad Blogger...bad bad blogger...

Shame on me. I haven't blogged since Saturday. I've thought about it, several times...but I was either busy, tired, or not sure what to blog about and never got around to posting... I also had a hard time posting because I was to busy scratching off a limb or two from all the damn mosquito bites I have.

Sunday we were busy all day, we had a party to attend at our friends Dan & Cindy's house. We got there around 12:30, and didn't get home until 11:30 p.m.. It was a great day of fun, friends, swimming, food, and fireworks. I took 300 pictures Sunday. I'm not going to post all of them, don't worry :) I have made some collages though so I can share many without posting a crapload. Most of the pictures are of Bree, because she is the one I have to follow around all day and keep an eye on so she is the one with the most pictures. Jilly was in the pool 99% of the time we were there. She only got out to eat, pee, and watch the fireworks...at the time of the fireworks she was tired and whiny. Kels was mingling with everyone so I don't have a ton of pics of her. Anyways, here you are, enjoy:

















Poor Bree, she didn't like the noisey fireworks. Bill asked her the next day if she liked them she said, "NO! They were to loud!" Bree ended up cuddling with me to watch the fireworks, she had both ears covered and I helped cover the one ear...and she fell asleep that way. Bill never made it to the party. He was going to drive there after waking up (he worked the night before and needed a few hours sleep before heading over), but he didn't wake up until around 6 p.m. so he just stayed home, since he had to work that night too.

Monday was a day of cranky people. All of us were tired, and not in the greatest of moods. Everyone needed a nap. Thankfully Bree took one, I tried, but didn't succeed. Monday we mainly just lazed around, recooperated from the weekend.

Tuesday I continued to laze around. Today I've been busy all day. I finally got off my butt again and did some much needed housework. I had slacked a few days and felt guilty. I cleaned my kitchen really good, moved around all my kitchen appliances (if I can't move my furniture right now I might as well move the appliances right?!), cleaned the counter tops, fridge, washed the floor on my hands & knees, all that fun stuff. I also got the bathroom cleaned well, and the living room as well. Of course now the living room looks dirty again, thanks to the kids, but it was clean for a while...

This afternoon while I was getting stuff picked up in the livingroom to vacuum, Jilly asked Bree to go hang out in their bedroom and play, since Bree isn't a fan of the vacuum. Jilly came out after a bit to find her DS, leaving Bree alone in the bedroom. Bree saw her chance and climbed up onto the top bunk, where she isn't allowed to go. While she was up there she managed to pull the ceiling fan out of the ceiling. Kels walked by the bedroom and saw her doing it and quickly got her out of there. So there was a fan dangling from the ceiling till Bill got home. Thankfully she did this about 30 min. before he got home so it wasn't to long. Upon his arrival I showed him what she did, and told him how it happened. He said a few choice words and went to the task of fixing it. Apparently it wasn't all Bree's fault, whoever installed the fan before he bought the house didn't do it properly. It took him quite a while to fix it, he had to go up in the hot hot attic, and I heard many a cuss words coming from up there, but it is now fixed, properly. Here is what the dusty fan looked like...



Thats about all thats happened around here. Other than me spending way to much time in the john. I swear, I'm in there over half the day! Between my over active poop shoot, and Bree wanting me in there every time she has to go potty, and giving her a bath and stuff, I spend way to much time in there. I need a laptop so I can blog while I'm in there ;) Haha.

Today should be Renee's Recipe Round-Up day...but I am thinking of skipping it this week because I'm to darn tired right now to blog about it. The last few weeks it doesn't seem like anyone has been interested in it anyways. Maybe summer time isn't a good time for it, everyone is out and about to busy to blog recipes. What do you think?

My least favorite household chore is probably laundry. All chores are my least favorite, but since I have to pick one laundry is it. It never ends, there is always so much of it, and you not only have to wash it, but you have to dry it, and fold it, and put it away! I'm not a fan. Plus there is the lugging it up and down the stairs to the basement where the laundry is...and this time of year there are earwigs downstairs that like to hide in laundry baskets, EEK. I really wish I had a laundry fairy that would come in and do the laundry for me at night while I sleep. Quit laughing at me, a girl can dream right?

I was busy yesterday and didn't get around to posting 5 Question Friday, so I'm going to do it quickly now, before I head out to run a few errands (aka McD's coke run!).

1. Lack of every day worries. Freedom to play with friends, not have to worry about taking care of kids, doing laundry, cooking dinner etc....in other words, I miss having fun.

2. I have one close friend, although we haven't talked much in the last year, she got busy with life. I have a few other friends on FB, I keep up with their lives there, but other than FB we don't really talk.

3. I have a few...online ones: *Le Sigh* DUMB! drives me nuts, and meme...what kind of word is that? I think a better word should be made for that stuff. The word panties bugs me too, not sure why...I would rather use underwear, or undies.

4. Freedom

5. We have a party to go to on the 4th at our good friends Dan & Cindy's house. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the kids can swim and we can stay and watch fireworks from their yard.

Another Busy Day

I haven't had time for 5 Question Friday today. I haven't even given Show Me Saturday any thought yet. My house looks like a tornado hit it. This is why:



I've been up to my eyeballs in cookies.

Hopefully I can catch up on blog stuff sometime tomorrow...

My feet hurt!

Happy Thursday (almost Friday)! I've been busy all day pretty much today. I'm beat! My feet hurt! Calgon take me away!

This morning the girls & I went to the park. They all had a good time. Bree wasn't to keen on the porta potty type potty there. She thought she was going to fall in, and wow did it stink in there! She ended up holding it till we got home, which is a good thing for her, we are still working on that part of potty training.

While at the park, I looked at my shoulder to find a big bug sitting there! If I would have flicked it off I'd have to flick it in its face and that creeped me out. So, I asked Kelsey to get it off me, and to not let it jump towards my face when she did it. She is so mean, she got it and stuck it in my face!! I screamed like a little girl. She was so proud of herself. I had to go change my pants after that (kidding, I didn't wet or soil myself, but darn near!) I do NOT like bugs!

This afternoon brought WORK. I mowed the yard, and worked up a sweat. I had Kelsey watch Bree while I did it. Jilly & Kelsey both did a few small jobs too. Then I got the garage cleaned to make room for my van again. Maybe if I park it in there now it will not get quite so hot in there.

After dinner and a bath for Bree, we ended up taking another trip to the store because I was out of baking soda, which I needed to make cookies. When we got back home it was time to mix & bake cookies. Its now 11:30 and we just got done baking the last pan (Thanks for helping Kelsey!). I'm chowing on a bowl of chocolate marshmallow ice cream (NOT ROCKY ROAD), choc. marshmallow has been a favorite of mine since childhood, I can't find it to many places now a days. Its soooooo good.

Tomorrow will be busy as well. I need to decorate all these cookies! I also have to drop Jilly off at Grandma's and Kelsey off at her dads. They will be staying at those places until Sunday around noonish. I'd like to find some time to get a few more things done tomorrow like trimming out bushes that are so overgrown and ugly, and spraying down the front of the house to get rid of spider webs and bird crap, but I don't know if I'll get to that stuff or not.

I can't believe I'm up this late tonight after my horrible last night. I went to bed around 10ish, and watched some TV. I shouldn't have done that, because I was tired, but I got into a show and watched it anyways. Then, just as I can barely keep my eyes open any longer, it starts...the neighbors dogs start barking, and barking, and BARKING so loudly, and for so long. After an hour I was on the verge of calling the cops on him. Hottie or not, his dogs were being loud and I was tired! Plus all the barking to our dog Moo whiny and wanting to go out. I took her out 3 times during that hour. Finally the last outting at midnight the hottie neighbor came home and shut up his dogs. I think he probably got some complaints and was tracked down (his dad is a cop). Figures, after all that I can't sleep. 1 a.m. rolled around, then 2...finally sleep, but guess what, Bree is up and wants me to lay with her in her bed. I get her to sleep I think, head to bed, get comfy and she starts crying for me again. UGH. Finally bedtime for me, I was so tired. She had a few more wakes ups, but they were brief. I hate nights like that!

Aww crap, I just remembered I need to start the dishwasher and a load of laundry. I guess I better get my butt away from here and do that, then hit the sack!

Before I go, let me show you my cool toes :) Kelsey painted them like a flag for me for the 4th of July week. I jazzed up the pics with sticker things to try to cover some of my ugly toes hehe.
