This week, its going to be all about Jilly for me. I happened to look at some old photos recently and came across these and really laughed out loud. She was such a nut...
Lets start with the time she cut her own bangs...



Then there was a time that she got into my make up...I asked her if she did, her reply was no...but as you can see, she is full of it...




Then came the time when she went to the kitchen (we lived with my mom at the time), she was really quiet so I went to check on her to discover what you are going to see below...She had stripped off all her clothing, used the drawers as a ladder, and climbed into the dishwater that my mom had used for washing dishes a little bit before... I put a censor bar on the picture, but really didn't need to for nothing showed that isn't appropriate...just didn't want to risk offending anyone...



Next is this one...makes me LOL every time. Kids, do not try this trick at home, it was done by a professional....

Cute video & heads up for SMS

Me again...just wanted to show you a cute video from today. Bree likes to dress up in things, she had on a hat, and a play skirt that once belonged to Jilly's lifesize barbie doll. She had Jilly's recorder and came into the bathroom while I was ummm busy...and had to put on a show for me. It went on for a LONG time. Finally after laughing a bit I called for Kelsey to bring me the camera, and I took some video. By this time I had finished what I was doing, but was just sitting enjoying the show...

5 Question Friday 7-16-2010

Before I start 5QF, let me just vent a minute. I don't like being a dog owner. Our dog has been a pain in the butt since we got her. Tonight she reminded me of that. I opened the garage door to let her in and discovered something on the floor in front of the door. I'm not sure what it was, but there was only half of it, and it was super tiny. Kels & Jilly inspected it too and then went out in the yard to see if there was more...sure enough there was...a totally of 8, all dead...we think they were rabbits. Poor things. I know its natural for a dog to do this kind of stuff, but I don't like it. I'm thankful that it wasn't like the last time where I took her out and she caught a big bunny as I watched and blood was everywhere, the rabbit was shrieking, I was screaming trying to get her to let it go...man, I'll never forget that day. The girls want me to get rid of Moo...so they say right now anyways. Honestly I'd love to, but my husband wants to keep her for some reason... I'm sure he won't care about the dead bunnies when he hears about it in the morning. Blah.

1. No I don't, unless dust bunnies count. When I was younger I was given a cat collection by my aunt, a bunch of ceramic cats...not sure what happened to it, we probably gave it away before one of our many moves. My husband collects Budweiser Beer steins, which collect dust. He has a few hundred of them, and they line the walls of the living room and the hallway in our small house...Here is a picture (back from Bree's 1st birthday, I took a picture to show the snowflake decorations for her winter ONEderland party) that shows some of the gazillion steins he has:



2. McDreamy (Patrick Dempsy), Sam (Taye Diggs), and umm...hmmm...John Stamos isn't to bad to look at, I can't think of anyone else so he works.

3. I have c-section scars. I also have a scar on my left wrist from putting my hand through a door window while playing tag with my brothers. I have a scar on my foot from tripping on a tent stake while wearing flip flops. I have one on my chest from the dumb dogs when I had to break up a bad fight between them (while very pregnant). Probably a few more here and there from weird things I can't remember.

4. A lot of people think mixing ketchup & mayo together is gross, but I love it! I dip fries in it, burgers, sandwiches...lots of things. My mom made a sandwich she named the Hagar Special years ago, its made of bread, peanut butter, mustard, mayo, lettuce and radishes (I think, been a long time since I had one), and while it sounds super disgusting, its actually good...

5. No, the a real tornado. Saw the storms involving them but wasn't close enough to see the actual tornado. While camping once we THOUGHT we saw 3 of them in the sky, but they were not tornados, they were water spouts or something or other...look just like tornados though. Enough to scare the crap out of us for sure.

Day at the Beach

Today we spent some time at the beach not to far from us (30 min. drive), its actually a private one, but Zach & Kelsey have passes because their dad lives out there. The purpose of the beach trip was so Zach could introduce us to his new boyfriend (you do know he is gay right?). It was Bree's first beach trip, and she enjoyed playing in the giant sandbox and water. Kels & Jilly pretty much did their thing together most of the time, they did spend a little time with Bree & Zach & Josh here and there. Zach & Josh made a sand castle blobby thing with Bree, she had fun with that...to bad a boat made some big waves, which caused the castle blog to pretty much go bye bye. It was a fun day. I took the camera (duh), and took way to many pictures! Like 500ish. So this evening I've been trying to collage some of them to share with you. Now its 10 p.m. and I'm super tired from a crappy night of sleep (again) and from being out in the sun & surf all day. I was hoping Bree would go to bed early, but she slept on the way home, which ruined everything. Anyways, here are some of the pictures from today, enjoy...











Looks like a fun day right? It was a super hot day, again, so the water was nice and cooling for the kids. I didn't get in, other than my feet. I felt that if I had a swimsuit on it might draw media attention to the lake, because people would mistake me for a beached whale!

Ok, since we are talking birthmarks...Bree has a white one! I had never seen a white one before, have you? See...


Funny birthmark story: When I was little and discovered mine (on my ankle bone) I thought it was dirt, and tried to wash it off in the bathtub, got pretty frustrated it didn't come off.

Miss me?

Sorry for my lack of posting recently. Things have been just rather boring... Since my public (mainly 1 person LOL) has made it known that she misses my posting I better get my butt busy and post something! So, here is a post with a little of this, and a little of that in it, no rhyme or reason really.

*I'm super proud of Bree. Last night we switched from a night time diaper to a over night pull up. Normally she loads up her diapers with pee during the night because she loves to drink milk up till she falls asleep and sometimes during the night...Anyways, she slept till 5:40 this morning, woke up and yelled to me that she had to pee, so I took her to the john and she did her business, and her pull up was dry! She said, "Look mom, the sun is coming out" meaning she wanted to stay up! I told her "its just starting to come out so we need to go back to sleep for a while", thankfully she did :) She slept until nearly 11:00 a.m.! (I wonder if she is having a growth spurt or something the last few days she has slept in really late) Upon her wake up she was STILL DRY! I was so happy. I did a happy happy joy dance, gave her a high five, and a BIG hug and kiss and told her how proud I was. When we go places I put her in a regular pull up just to be safe, and lately she refuses to pee in them, even if we are no where near a bathroom, so I'm hoping that was the case with her staying dry last night, and not just a fluke. Cross your fingers for tonight!

*The last few days I've been reading a few books. My mom gave me a few to read when she stopped by on Friday, I've finished 2 of the 3 so far, going to start the 3rd here shortly. They are keeping me occupied until the library calls me with good news that my new Janet Evanovich book is in. I'm on a HUGE waiting list. I'd love to just go buy the book, since I really hate waiting, but I can't see spending $20 for a book I'll only read one time. I hope everyone on this list is a fast reader! I've been waiting for months for the release of this book now its out and I want it.

*Jilly & Kelsey have a love hate relationship. There are a few times a day, mostly at night, where they actually spend time together, where they are not fighting. But that is only a little bit out of a very long summer day. The fighting is driving me crazy. Bill came home today and they were bickering. He says to me, "I don't know how much your getting paid for this job but its surely not enough!" (DUH!) he then proceeded to tell me how he doesn't even want a day off during summer vacation because he can't handle the girls, he'd rather sweat his ass off at his job than deal with it. I reminded him that his daughter is no angel sometimes either, he says she gets it from being around the older 2...I think she gets some of that, but I think she also has her daddy's temper!

*Speaking of the girls... As we all know, I LOVE my McD's cokes. The girls want something when we go there for my coke, so I let them get something from the dollar menu, IF they do a chore I've asked them to do first...because well, if they are always wanting a treat they need to deserve it don'tcha think? Really, they have it so easy here. Jilly has to feed the cats, Kels has to clean the litter boxes. That is pretty much it. When I want them to do something for their McD's treat, I usually have Jilly unload the dishwasher, and Kelsey rinse off the dirty stuff to go into the dishwasher. Not that hard. You'd think it was the end of the world, especially for Jilly...She whines and cries that she can't reach the cupboards that the stuff goes into blah blah blah. Well, whenver Jilly wants something to eat, she has NO PROBLEM getting into those cupboards, she just hops up onto the counter and gets what she wants....but noooo she can't reach it when she is actually supposed to be doing something for her mom. So she's just been taking stuff out of the dishwasher and setting them on the counter for me to put away, what the heck?! The whole purpose is for HER to do it, if I have to put it away she isn't earning crap. If she only does 1/2 her job, should I only tell her she can get a 1/2 an order of fries or apple dippers at McD's? Kels didn't do her job to well yesterday either, she forgot to rinse many things, she should only get 1/2 a sweet tea!

*Its been really HOT & HUMID out here the last few days. Not sure what today got to but it was supposed to be 90ish with a heat index taking it over 100. It sure felt like it got there. Its to miserable to play outside with the kids. I wish we had a pool. We don't even have Bree's little pool anymore since it has a hole somewhere that I have yet to find, but it won't stay inflated. Its soooo hot I have been thinking of my brother's favorite saying today, "It's hotter than a whore with coupons" .

*If you haven't given any questions yet, please consider doing so...I'm doing a Q & A of Renee, and calling it Request a Ramble. So give me a question, something to ramble about...

*Kelsey informed me the other day some lovely news. Apparently she needs a special calculator for a class at school. Not just your every day calculator that costs $10 or so at Wallyworld...she needs a SPECIAL one, that costs $100 freaking dollars!! Are you kidding me? Does the school think I'm made of money?? Where am I going to get $100 for a calculator? Sure, we won't eat for a week, so we can buy a dumb calculator. Gimme a break. Stupid, STUPID I tell you! Remember when school supplies consisted of crayons, paper, glue, scissors and pencils?? Those people were the good old days... Now you have to pay an arm and a leg for your child to get registered for school, then you have to spend another arm and a leg for supplies, including dumb $100 calculators. Ya know, they should get these, and charge a small rental fee, and keep them at the damn school. THAT would be so much more feasible...

*The cats & dog have fleas, again. We've treated them at home with stuff, sprays, powders, and the goo you put on back of their necks and it soaks in...but none of that stuff seems to be doing squat. Argh.

*Jilly is eating us out of house & home. The child is a twig, but she eats constantly. Tonight, she had a full dinner, cereal, popsicles, fruit, and some other stuff that I can't remember. This goes on alllllll day! Some day she is going to be fat like me and regret pigging out...just wait. I keep warning her. Thankfully some of the stuff she pigs out on is fruit, but a lot isn't. How many days till school starts??

*Bree has been funny lately. Last night, she came running out of the bathroom all excited. "LOOK MOMMY! My boobies are getting bigger!" haha not sure why she noticed, they are not getting bigger...
Here are some other funny things she has done or said the last few days:
**She likes to put her hands on her hips, and shake her butt side to side as she says each word, "OH. MY. GOSH!" Gosh sounds more like goooosh.

**Bree loves listening to music with Kelsey. Kelsey has the Dirty Rich Lady Gaga song, Bree likes it.
The girls sing: Bang bang bang
Bree sings: bang bang bang
The girls sing: You're beautiful
Bree sings: And dirty rich!

Its really cute how they sing together!

**Bree says there is a lion living in our basement. The lion scratched her and said "ROAR" apparently. She talked about this lion for a good 10 minutes on our way to the store the other day. She says the lion eats cars and stop signs and then pukes them up LOL.

**Tonight while she was in the bathtub with her doll she says to me:
Watch my baby and be good to her. Don't die her. Don't shoot her, uh uh uh, that would be very very dangerous...she'd have to go to the hospitabel and they'd have to cut her open. Just hold her and be good to my honey pie.
She is such a silly imaginative child....

There ya go, I posted a post. Happy now? LOL. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have something more exciting to blog about...but don't get your hopes up, my life doesn't have to much excitement in it at the moment.

Bored. Request a Ramble?

Everyone having a marvelous Monday? I sure hope so. Mine has been boring so far. Cleaned up the kitchen a few times, need to finish laundry and pick up the living room...what fun right?

Yesterday was a boring day too. I stayed home ALL day, because Bill's niece was supposed to drop off something and pick up a check, she never showed up so my day was wasted. Oh well, not that I had any plans anyways..I just wanted to get out for a few minutes to go get a coke :) I spent the day chillin out mostly, and I read a whole book. The book was good, and it kept me busy. Then we got a storm so I shut down the PC and cuddled with Bree...and I dozed here and there because I was exhausted from a night with very little sleep.

Saturday evening the girls & I had a fire out back in the fire pit. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. Moo (or dog) kept stealing Bree's marshmallows. Apparently, Moo & marshmallows don't mix well, that night she had a tummy ache and kept me awake until 2:30 a.m. with potty trips every 10 minutes. I gave her some meds at 11 for it, but apparently it didn't do anything, so I gave her another at 2:30 and put her outside...and I said screw it and I went to bed. It was nice out, and the garage back door was open so she could go in the garage if she needed, so as long as she wasn't barking her head off she was staying out because I needed some darn sleep! I finally fell asleep, and Bree woke me up at 4, she wanted milk, and needed to go potty, and wanted me to lay with her. I dozed a bit while laying with her, but since its very uncomfortable I didn't get much sleep that way. Once she was sound asleep again I headed back to my bed. Guess what? At 5:20 she woke up and wanted me again. (Side note, I let Moo back in at 4 when Bree woke me and she was quiet the rest of the night) I got back into my bed around 6:15 and slept till 7:45-ish. I was tired and kinda cranky all day.

So, since I was bored today, I got to thinking (scary I know...). I know I've done something like this before, where I ask my readers what they want to know about me, and then I answer the questions so its a Q & A of Renee. I thought Request a Ramble would be a good name for this LOL. Last time I did this, I basically got NO questions to answer :( No one loved me apparently. I'm hoping for a better turn out this time. If you have questions you'd like me to answer please leave them in the comments on this post. Later this week I'll answer them, I might even vlog it.

1. Chocolate. Duh. Or...chicken. I love chicken, fried, grilled, nuggets, baked, sandwiches, however, I'm not that picky, I just enjoy chicken.

2. Sorta. I've always wanted to be a mom, and now I'm a stay at home mom.

3. I guess I wish I had gone to college. Not that I like school or anything, but because when I do need a good job, I am sure a degree in something would help me get one!

4. Is UGLY a color? LOL. My kitchen walls are a dirty cream color, and we have fake brick walls in the kitchen too! Some are white and some are like red bricks, total UGLY. It was this way when Bill bought the house. Our money has gone to more important things than kitchen walls...someday we'll get them fixed up and pretty, I hope.

5. Hell no. I can barely remember what happened yesterday, how am I going to remember many years ago? I can remember a few favorites over the years, but not my first...
