Weirdness, Peeve, and other crap.
Today I'm going to talk about a few things. Lets start with weirdness. I was just looking out my window and saw some. Kind of scary weirdness. There was an older dude walking down the street, wearing camouflage pants, a beige t shirt, boots, and it looked like a gun belt of some kind! Freaky. Weird. I'm glad we are in the house. I think I'll lock my door. This reminds me of back when I was married to Zach & Kelsey's dad. We lived in a not so great neighborhood. We had a big picture window on the front of our house. One day, we happened to look out the window, and there were a swarm of police cars! There was a guy roaming the neighborhood wearing camouflage stuff, with a big rifle! Thankfully he was caught, and no one was hurt.
Now, I'm going to talk about a peeve I have... People wearing pajama's out and about in public. Kids wear them to school on a regular basis. That is freakin crazy. Parents, make your kids get some damn clothing on. PJ's are for lounging at home and for bed, not for school, or shopping trips. How hard is it to get dressed? Seriously. Yeah, I love pj's too, but I don't wear them in public. Do you know what kind of image it gives people? To me, I see someone in pj's and think LAZY. Sorry people, but that is what I think. Sure, I guess there could be some extenuating circumstances that you have them on, and maybe I'll look past it from time to time, but most of the people that wear them don't really have a good reason. Please, put some clothes on...might wanna brush your hair too, and wear SHOES not slippers! That would be marvelous :)
Now for the other crap.
*I really really REALLY want some Long John Silver's chicken planks! I LOVE them. We don't have any LJS's around here, the closest one is about 35 min. away. I passed it when I was out on Sunday, and really wanted to stop, but I had 3 girls in my van, and 2 of them were fighting with each other, so I just needed to get home ASAP before I went crazy. Some day I need to go out there when the older girls are in school, and chow down. Yum.
*Jilly got her hair dyed the other day. First she wanted blue streaks, then she wanted blue/black stripes (yuck), we opted for the bottom layer blue, and the rest her natural color. It looks kinda cool actually. It satisfies her need to be cool and different, without going to far over the edge and freaking me out. Now her hair has attitude...just like she does. See:
*It's been stressful around here the last few days. Bree has been cranky. Jilly pulled some school crap. Zach has been PMSy and mean to everyone. Kels has been upset, mostly because of Zach being mean to her. I think everyone in this house needs their own padded cell.
*I'm in the mood for fall stuff. Apples, cider, pumpkins...all that good stuff.
*I think when I made Dan's cake a few weeks ago, I talked to much about man boobs...because now Miss Bree keeps saying "man boobs", not for any reason, just because she likes to say it apparently...eeks.
*Speaking of Miss Bree and her sayings...whichever child of mine taught Bree the word "SUCKA", you need to be smacked upside the head. All day long, "Wassup Sucka!?"
*I don't recall if I mentioned it or not, but Kelsey's homecoming is coming up soon. Saturday we went dress shopping. (OMG that was a shopping trip, I'll explain more in a sec) She found a dress she liked online, but of course they didn't have the dress at the actual store. With something like that I think its best to try it on in the store, not order it. We went to a few stores, finally found some cute dresses in her size. She grabbed several to try on. Zach picked one out for her to try on too. She loved one, but I thought it made her rear look rather big, and the skirt part of it was kind of funky and short. Then she tried on the one Zach picked out, she like it too, and I LOVED it on her. It was very flattering on her and made her look slimmer, and it didn't make her booty look like she had to much junk in her trunk. She looked beautiful and mature, grown up. She had a hard time choosing between the 2 dresses. The one I liked won (maybe because I kept telling her I was the one with the $$ to pay for it hehe). I really truly think she made the right decision, she looks so pretty in it. When we got home she tried it on again and I took her picture. See:
*That shopping trip was hell. Jilly had gotten a good chunk of money from her father for her birthday. So when we went shopping for Kelsey's dress we also did shopping for Jilly to spend her birthday money. She is such a stinker! She loved so many things and wanted them. Then when I told her its her birthday money that is going to be spent for them she'd not want them anymore. When its MY money she wants EVERYTHING, when its hers she is a scrooge! She kept whining about every little thing. We went to the mall and Target, she got nothing. Then we went to Walmart, she got a few small priced items. Then as we left she started crying she wanted to go back to the mall to get something she saw there. Ummm NO. We were tired of shopping, it was dinner time, everyone was cranky and complaining no way was I going to back track and return to the mall. I could not wait to get home!
*Bree is playing BopIt by herself, having a blast even though she can't get one single thing LOL. She talks back to it when it says stuff to her hehe. "To fast for you? You're out!" Bree says that is hilarious :) She repeats it and giggles. I'm glad she enjoys it.
Ok, I suppose you've had enough of my misc. crap. I'll close this for now...

Bad cast choices for DWTS
Boo Boo BOO!
And one more thing, POOHY on you ABC/DWTS for making me watch The Bachelor Pad to hear the cast. BORING. That wasn't very nice.
Well? Whats your answer?
Anyways, enough of my complaining, on with the show... Today I'm going to play along with my friend Dazee's "Well, Whats your answer?" game...It is kinda like 5QF...
1. Have you or would you bungee jump, skydive, or drag race on a track?
2. If you and another blog friend could spend a day together, what kind of trouble would you get in to?
3. If you heard/saw your neighbor abusing his wife or children, would you call the authorities?
4. For $1000 bucks would you eat a pigs penis?
5. What is one of your "guilty pleasure" TV shows?
1. Before my kids were born, I went down the drag strip with my now ex hubby. It was awesome, scary yet amazing. I would never do anything like that now, I don't want to risk anything bad happening to me, my kids would like me around for a long time (despite what they might say now :P )
2. I'm not much of a trouble maker...I'm a good girl :) We'd have a lot of fun though I'm sure. We'd go out to dinner or lunch, maybe some window shopping, I don't know...just hanging out getting to know eachother in person and having fun.
3. Yes, I believe I would.
4. Gosh, I don't know! I'd like to say yes, because $1000 could really come in handy for us right now... but when I actually had it on a plate in front of me, I don't know that I could do it!
5. I think Dancing with the Stars. :) I wish I could dance like they do. Especially if my partners were either Mark Ballas or Derek Hough ;) Hubba hubba. Mak's isn't bad either...but I don't think he & I would get along well.
Have a good Monday everyone!

Dreams
*My grandma was in love with a whale at Sea World. So in love that she married it. She stood in front of the glass viewing area in a wedding gown, and married a whale.
*We had a new car...which was a couch, with wheels on it, and we made it move with our feet like Fred Flintstone did with his car.
*That my mom was in a porn movie for big women. Ummm yeah, that was a FREAKY dream...(Sorry mom!)
*I was married to Richard Gere, and we owned a small grocery store, we got it on in the canned goods aisle. Then he told me to go home and meet him in a hot shower, he'd close up and be there shortly...Damn I woke up before he got home. LOL. Why Richard Gere? I mean, he is ok and all, but not my favorite actor, and not the HOTTEST one in my book...he's not bad by all means, just not who I'd picture having steamy fun with in a dream hehe.
That is just a little taste of my wild dreams. I swear, I do not do drugs, before sleeping, I don't do drugs at all. Honest. When I was pregnant my dreams were even more bizarre...if that is even possible. Sometime I'd like to have some of my crazy dreams analyzed.
It seems my girls have gotten the dream gene too. Kelsey tells me often of her crazy dreams, so does Jilly. Lately it seems Bree is dreaming quite a bit too. For instance...
*Early this morning she woke up screaming saying "GET ME OUT! I don't want to stay in the van, I want to walk with you!" not sure what brought that on...didn't sound like a pleasant dream though..
*She once told me of a dream where she was singing and dancing on a table with Jilly, (hopefully they had clothes on :) ) and someone got up and danced with them.
*The other day she woke up crying for me, I went into her room and she asked "Mommy were you killed?" I told her no I wasn't, and she needed to lay back down and go to sleep. She laid down, I laid in her bed with her for a bit. She got up a few minutes later and again asked, "Mommy did you get killed?" I again told her no, I was just fine, and to go back to sleep. She did it another time too. She didn't seem overly distraught or anything, just asking.. I hope she doesn't have ESP and is foreseeing my future LOL.
My dreams can be so vivid sometimes. Its quite cool, providing they are good dreams. Not so cool when its something scary, and you are afraid to close your eyes after it..
QOTD: Do you remember your dreams often?

School's in session!
This is what Jilly looked like her very first day of school ever, when she went to kindergarten:
Wasn't she cute? So tiny too. The sun was in her eyes that morning, she was trying to shield it.
Here is what she looked like today...
If looks could kill... LOL. She was not happy I wanted to take her picture. I should have known I was in for trouble just by the look on her face then...Please please be a better drop off tomorrow...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have MANY pet peeves... Lets start with the few that I found pics on google of...
It drives me totally nuts when people use to many !s and ?s! Like this, "I am so happy!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe what she said?????????" seriously people, one or two !s or ?s is plenty! Stop going !? crazy. Thanks.
People that pick their noses in public. GROSS. If you must pick it, go into a bathroom, or some place that is private, please. Thanks.
That is all I could muster up for pictures. Sorry. I will share some more peeves I have though, just minus pictures...
*People that don't put their little ones in car seats! Learn the law people! Don't endanger your children!
*People that smoke like a chimney, around their children. Stupid.
*Spit in the sink. YUCK. Wash that crap down will ya??
*Setting trash RIGHT NEXT to the garbage can instead of putting it IN the can! UGH.
*Putting your cans on the counter, right above the recycling bin. Seriously people! Get with the program.
*Dirty socks on the kitchen table! GROSS! People want to eat at the table, stop being disgusting!
*People picking their teeth with toothpicks, pens, paper, straws, whatever they can use, while in public. That is gross, do it in private.
*People that must turn in front of you and go so slow, when all they had to do is wait for you to pass then they'd have the road to themselves, but noooooo they must slow you down. Jerks.
*The parents in the school pick up line that park in spots that aren't supposed to be parked in, or that park half in the middle of the road blocking traffic, making an already cluster$&#* worse.
*People that chew their food LOUDLY.
*People that inhale their food without chewing! Don'tcha know it's gonna hurt coming back out if you don't chew it? You have teeth, use them, be thankful for them.
*Those that use the word on the internet "le sigh" I think its dumb.
LOL I could go on and on...I'll stop now. If you want to play along, link up!
What's Your Answer?
My good friend Dazee has started a new link up type thing, very similar to the 5QF's that I usually do. She's come up with some questions, and she'd like to know MY answers to them. I bet she'd like to know your answers too if you'd like to play along and link up to her!
1. If a flight to the moon was as cheap as airfare, you you go?
2. Did you ever kiss someone you didn't know?
3. Would you reboard an airplane that had to land because of a problem?
4. What is the saddest thing you've ever seen while driving down the road?
5. Have you ever had a dream that warned you of something?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Well...considering I can't even afford air fare to anywhere at the moment, probably no. Even if I could, I don't know...while it would be cool, it would also be scary. I'm pretty much a wuss...
2. Not that I recall....but then again, my memory sucks.
3. Probably not...but I guess it depends on what the problem was, how serious it was...
4. Ugh I hate this question! I try to forget what I saw, this made me remember :( It was a cat, that was hit by a car, it was still alive, even though its back half was smooshed. I was in high school at the time, cruising around with my friend when we saw this. Poor kitty.
5. Again, I don't recall any, but my memory sucks...
Be sure to check out Dazee's blog, she is a hoot. She loves to speak her mind, doesn't always sugar coat things either, she tells it like it is.
QOTD: Is your memory good? I might have asked this already...I don't remember HA!

New Look!
*The blog header is new.
*New PAGES, I have a 'About Me' page now, and a 'Contact Me' page. Please check them out! To get to them, look under the new header, between it and the blog post, there are clickable links there.
*I took all the pics of everyone on the side that were seperate with little text snippets under them out, and put one picture of the family members in its place. All that info is now found on the 'About Me!' page with new pictures.
*There are also some little font color changes & stuff.
Let me know your thoughts :)

Ready? Set. GO!
Weirdo:
–noun, plural weird·os. Informal .
1. an odd, eccentric, or unconventional person.
Without further delay, let me SHOW YOU, my lovely weirdo...
Miss Jilly wanted water balloon boobs, then she wanted to see how many water balloons she could fit into her suit..she figured it would make her float... GOOFBALL!! This was Friday by the way. We spent some time at our friends house in their pool while killing time before picking up Zach at work. After swimming we went out to dinner with Grandma (Thanks Grandma!) and went and spent some time at her house. It was a LONG day.
Show me your weirdo and LINK UP! Enjoy your Saturday.
QOTD: Have you been swimming lately?

Happy Birthday Zach!
Zach was a handful growing up :)...Still is! Anyways, no matter what I've gone through with my son, I still love him, and will always be his mom. I'm glad he is close enough to me to express his thoughts and feelings about things, we are pretty open with each other about most things. We were talking the other night when we went for a walk, he told me how nice it is he can tell me anything. He said he wishes it was that way with his dad too.
Happy 20th Birthday Zach. I hope the next 20 are smooth sailing.
This day also brings some sadness. It was August 14, a few yrs ago that our friends son Elliott was told he had to walk the wicked path of cancer...again. Zach has been thinking about this for a few days now, he & Elliott were buddies, Zach misses his friend. Thinking of The Aldrich family...hugs.

2. The strangest place...MY HOME. LOL. It is like a freakin zoo here...and the loony bin...wanna come visit? :)

Calgon, take me away...Pretty please?
I've been somewhat stressed lately, and just tired and cranky, not much in a blogging mood. Its so crazy around here that when my mom skype's me lately, she asks "How's things at the asylum?" LOL.
Let me try to fill you in a little on things...
*My son, has a job at a pet store, they have dramatically reduced his hours, therefor he could not pay his roommates his share of rent. This means he came back here to live. In our already small, crowded house. Now we have another mouth to feed, on an already tight budget.
*My son also couldn't afford to pay for his car insurance due to lack of work hours, which caused his father to cancel him on the car insurance.
*The same day, his car died. (He was told about the insurance cancel on his way to work, on the way back, the car had major issues) He made it home, but the car remains parked, not working/no insurance.
*Because his dad cancelled the insurance, my son got all pissed off at his dad, and refuses to speak to him anymore and wants him out of his life. (over dramatic I think, and I also think he'll regret that decision some day) So now, it all falls on MY shoulders. As if I didn't have enough there already...No, I don't mean paying his insurance, that isn't going to happen, I can barely afford my own...I mean all the stress, and dealing with all the son stuff, falls on my shoulders.
*Spent half a day driving son back and forth on Tues. to his doctor appt. over an hour away, then to his job to tell them the docs findings. Now, his job says, he either comes to work his shift Friday, or he either resigns or gets fired. They don't care about the car situation.
*I've been driving son to and from places the last 2 days filling out applications and dropping them back off at different places in town. We are hoping, praying, crossing our fingers he can find something here in town that he can walk to or I can easily take him to because it is close.
*Come tomorrow, I have to leave the house by 12:30, drive him an hour away to his job to drop him off, with a car of cranky girls with me. Then we need to find something to do to pass the time...long time...until I pick him up again at 9 p.m., then we have an hour drive home...its NOT going to be pleasant. The girls & I will pack a dinner of PB & J's and snacks to eat somewhere while we are out too... Trying to omit as little driving as possible, since gas is low, its over due for an oil change, and has the engine light on in the van...last thing I need is for my van to die, than we are all screwed. No money to repair things at the moment.
*also last week, I chipped a tooth. No dental insurance so I just won't be smiling for now, if I do, I look like a total hillbilly. Thankfully, there is no pain from it...knock on wood.
*Son had his bf over for several days last week too. While the bf is a nice guy, its just another stress having a house guest, with all the crap going on lately.
*Miss Jilly has been full of attitude lately, I swear she is a teenager already...
*Miss Bree has had a cold/allergy thing going on, and has been so very very cranky. This morning she woke kinda pleasant, it lasted a little while...then all the sudden she was like the chick in the Exorcist movie...the one with the spinning head. Pass me the holy water...
*Miss Kels has been cranky, mostly. But she has helped out a bit here and there, for those times I am grateful.
*Bill has a cold too, and he is tired & cranky...which is totally understandable.
* I need to put locks on my daughters dressers. Jilly & Bree change their clothing 20 times a day. It's getting old.
*Kels & Jilly have been at each other's throats. I can't wait for school to start.
That is just some of the stuff going on. So yeah, things ain't been a blast around here. Things could be worse though...I'm thankful we have a home, food, and health.
This mommy needs some quiet, comfort time.
QOTD: What makes you happy during a stressful time?
Toodles!

Drooling and Kitty Litter
Bree has inherited my drool issue. If she falls asleep somewhere, chances are, she'll leave a drool wet spot too.
So, apparently I drool so much that all the saliva leaves my mouth, because I wake up with horrible cotton mouth. My mouth feels like this...
Yeah, appealing right? I can't wait to brush my teeth in the morning and get a drink. BLECK. Actually that picture of the kitty litter above, I'd eat that. Its not real kitty litter or poop, its a CAKE. Its made from cake mixes, crushed cookies, pudding and the cat poop is actually tootsie rolls :) Would you eat it?
Hmmm as I'm typing an idea came to me...maybe I could rig a pad to my mouth, to catch all my drool, and keep my pillow drool free :) HAHA That would be quite the sight...
Time for me to take my drooling kitty litter mouth to bed...
QOTD: Are you a night owl or an early bird?

First I'll post a gross thing. It's a yak. I think. We saw it at the fair last year here in town. It licked Bree, and terrified her for a long time. She kept calling it a guy, she'd say over and over, "Guy, scary, licked me". Poor child.
How would you like a big sloppy french kiss from that guy? EWWWW. GROSS.
Next is something creepy. Have you heard about Michael Jackson's ghost? I had, and I saw some of the footage on this video I'm going to post previously, but towards the end there is something new that was recently spotted at MJ's place. Its very cool, in a creepy way, be sure to check it out.
I told ya it was creepy!
Have a great weekend.

Back to School Shopping
Jilly picked her stuff out right away, then got bummed that she reached her limit on the $ to be spent for her, so she was whiny. Kels took forever picking stuff out, and trying stuff on. Which in turn got Jilly ticked, and Bree was cranky, wanting out of the stroller etc.. We were at the store maybe an hour and a half, and Bree had to make 5 potty trips! Yes, 5! I'm glad she used the potty, but geez, 5 times? Hard to get shopping done from in the bathroom.
Half way through the shopping adventure, I was totally ready for one of these.
I'm not really a drinker, but this sure would have made shopping more enjoyable.
As I said, Kels took a LONG time picking stuff out. By this time, the 2 gay guys had already made their venture around the mall complete, and the lead guy was nagging, "is she done yet?" "What is the hold up?" "Come on, just get something already". Thankfully the other guy got him to wander off with him to the pretzel place. By this time I kept pushing this button...
Unfortunately, the button did NOT work. Drat. Oh well, it was worth a try.
Finally, Kels had her choices made, and we dashed to the check out before anyone could change their minds. :) I called the 2 guys, and told them to meet us at the van, we are done and heading out! Cheers were had by all. Homeward bound we were.
Now tomorrow, I have to register Jilly for school. Then next week I register Kelsey. Those are sad days, due to the money I have to shell out for it. But....When August 17 & 23 comes around, and its time for...
This mommy will be doing a major HAPPY DANCE! Like this...
It will mean somewhat quiet days again. No fighting all day long between Jilly & Kelsey. Maybe Bree will even nap a bit more. One can only hope.
I totally love my kids...but back to school time is a happy day. I'm sure they disagree on that.
I hope your Wednesday was wonderful. See ya Thursday...Now I need to reply to some emails, and hopefully hit the sack!
QOTD: Do you look forward to back to school time?
Toodles!
