The letter E & Yay Bree!

Last week Bree & I worked on the letter E. It worked out nicely that it was also Earth Day/Week. At one point Bree went 'green' to celebrate...in other words she colored her face & hands green with a marker. We didn't do to many things, but she seemed to have fun this week with what we did do.

Bree has been an awesome potty training girl this week! She decided on her own several days ago that she wanted to use the potty in the morning. I took that as a sign that she was ready to start using the potty again. We had tried a while back, but she lost interest and refused to wear panties after a few days. But, this week, she has done marvelous! We still have some accidents, but she's doing really well. When we are home she is wearing big girl panties, no diapers, unless its naptime or bedtime. I'm so proud of her, and I hope it keeps up, it would be nice to not have to buy diapers. Today was kinda funny. She said she had to pee. I was in the middle of something so I asked her to hold it a second. She went to the bathroom to wait for me. I went in there and she was sitting on the little potty with her pants on. I said, "You need to take your pants down to pee silly", her reply to me was, "No I don't Mommy, see?!" I looked and she pee'd, through her pants into her potty. Since she has done so well this week, Bill got her something. She said she wanted an umbrella to play outside in the rain, so he got her one, and also a rain coat & hat. Here is a picture...

This weekend was somewhat quiet. Of course that changed as soon as the girls got home. And lots of hissy fits going on this evening, and not just by the children in the house...the worst one was not done by a female member of the house, but by the oldest member of the household.

I'm really really REALLY wanting to make some cookies to decorate. I keep talking myself out of it. Maybe I should, and make small ones as samples, maybe the girls could take some to a favorite teacher to share, or Bill could take some to work. Maybe if people tasted them they'd want to buy some. It is a busy cake season coming up...to bad I couldn't get some samples of that out there...with graduation and all. Gosh, I remember when I worked at the bakery in Walmart. Graduation killed us! Hundreds of cakes per day (special orders, not just the cakes for the case), most of them were full sheet cakes. We worked long hard hours from May-July pretty much.

Whelp, not really much to chit chat about right now so I'll close this and say Toodles!

QOTD: Do you have pets?

P.S. Mindi, if you are reading...I'm glad you put your blog back up! :)

Great job on the potty training, Bree! I love the ladybug rain gear!

The handprint elephant is very cute! Good job. We didn't get to do all our E projects either with being sick all week but at least both of our girls had fun and still learned something.

QOTD: We have a cat named Sisco. She's very sweet but can be very annoying and likes to make me fall down the stairs. Paige absolutely loves her.

Renee-I love ya!! I'm back baby! haha!

Bree is such a cutie-seriously!! What a cute idea for earth day, going green. I'll have to do that next year!

Answer: Yes! We have a dog that is almost one year old. She had her first period the other day, and now I'm not a fan of dogs having their periods!! I really miss our salt water fish tank. Me and Dave are talking about getting another one, all the while still trying to keep up with our dog! :)

I LOVE her rain gear!! Hey, I saw some ladybug rainboots at the Target and KMart near us. You should check and see if the one's near you have any. That would be AWESOME and oh, so cute!! :D

WTG with the ptty training!

QOTD: Nope. No pets for us! I want to get a doggy though, but T says he don't. :(
