Food blogs. I LOVE them. Maybe its because I love food, and I'm a fat cow, and looking at all that good stuff just turns me on. Haha. I never really viewed them, until about 6 months or so ago. I came across one, then another and soon, my favorites had a food blog folder with dozens of blogs listed in it! My favorite ones are baking ones. I see so many yummy cakes, cookies and other sweets, they make my mouth water, and my creative juices flow. (That sounds kinda nasty, but its not!) Now that I see all these things, it makes me want to try making them too!
I have tried a few things. Like cream cheese sheet cake and NJ coffee cake from Big Red Kitchen, they were yummy! I've made cookies from a recipe from Amanda over at i am mommy & i am baker, they too were very good! I also made my sugar cookie recipe and made a royal icing recipe from Annie's Eats, again, good stuff. There are many more recipes and ideas that I want to try.
After reading all these blogs, viewing their wonderful pictures, reading the recipes of all that yummy food...it leaves me wondering a few things. Like, how can these food bloggers afford to buy all this stuff to bake so many things so often? It gets costly I'm sure. How do they not weigh 400lbs? With all that good food, umm I'd be as big as my house! Does their family get tired of sweets & good eats? (is that possible?)
If any food bloggers read my goofy little blog here, please let me know the answers to these questions :) And, please pass this blog on to other food bloggers, so I can get their answers too! Curious minds want to know. I'd love to do a food blog some day...if only I liked to cook! I do love to bake though...so who knows, maybe its in the cards for me someday.
Thats it for now. Toodles!
