What a day.

Howdy everyone. Things have been a tad stressful around here lately. Its been a long day. I'm totally ready for bed, and I'm praying for a good nights sleep, something I'm in desperate need of.

We had some fun tonight. My friend Mindi (who has a private blog) posted about some water balloon catchers she made for her kids, she got the idea from FamilyFun.com I think it was. When I saw them, I thought it was pretty cool, and I had the stuff to make them so we made some today. The girls had a great time with them. Even Bree could catch the balloons. Of course I took a bunch of pictures, so I'll share them with you.

If you notice, Jilly has several different outfits on in these pictures, yet they were all taken this evening. She changes her clothes every 5 freakin minutes, not kidding. Its no wonder I always have a mountain of laundry to do.

Things were going great outside with the water balloons. Bill got involved too. Jilly threw some at him, and he at her...he hit her and she went nutso on him. She ran after him like a maniac, like she was going to rip his head off. He defended himself by sticking his knee up...but Jilly ran into it, full force. It knocked the breath out of her and she fell to the ground trying to catch it. I went to her to help her, she grabbed my hand like she was going to get up, then she fell down, laying on her stomach. She was kinda shaking, making snorting noises, rolling a bit, I think she kind of blacked out a few seconds and seized! It was scary. When she got up she asked if she fell asleep. She was quite shaken, and so was I. I had her go into the house and lay down a bit to relax her a bit. She was complaining of shoulder pain, so we iced it. For a while I was sure we'd end up having to go to the ER, but thankfully now she seems fine. She's back to being loud, hyper, and annoying Bree. It was really scary though when it happened. Bill apologized to her, he didn't mean to hurt her, he just put his knee up to defend himself, it was purely an accident. I'm so glad she is better.

Miss Bree has frustrated me. She has been daytime potty trained for a few months now and doing great. The only time she wore a diaper or pull up was at bedtime. Well, twice this week she pooped in her pants! She was proud of it too. I was not. After today's mess I told her that I was disappointed, and sent her to her bed to think about things. We both needed that time out. She ended up falling asleep...which means I'll be up until 2 a.m. probably. Bah. Not sure what could be causing her relapse into messing her pants...unless her brother staying here has stressed her out (it has me, thats for sure). Her daddy had a talk with her about dirtying her pants today, I hope it does some good.

Thats all I can talk about for now...to stressed & tired. I need a vacation.

QOTD: When is the last time you went on vacation?

Toodles!

Those are adorable pictures. Looks like there was a lot of fun going on until the whole run into the knee thing.

Glad Jilly is doing better...that was scary!

Vacation? have had only "staycations" for the past few years.

Of course you know your dad and how much he loves traveling and going out for dinner, etc. NOT!

Poor Jilly!! How scary! I would be freaking out!! I'm glad it wasn't any more serious then it was!

I've decided that having 2-3 year olds sucks! It's a crazy time with potty training and all. It's got to be that she senses all the stress in the house right now? C-man had a couple of relapses after he was trained. After we moved to our new home-he pooped right there and then! Any sort of change can throw them out of it! I hope things for you all can get better soon!

Your Jilly is so adorable. But I do not envy you the laundry. :)
