Saturday was ugly

To go along with Show Me Saturday's Ugly theme yesterday, we ended up getting some UGLY weather! We had tornado warnings, no fun. We spent over an hour in the basement. It wasn't to bad though, we have a tv down there that Jilly watched, and there were plenty of toys for Bree to play with (stuff that I took down to get out of the upstairs clutter), Bill had his pc to play on and I ended up turning on my old dinosaur slow as molasses computer.

We were glad to get the all clear to return upstairs though, especially Jilly, who really had to pee! When we got up we watched all the lightening from the view of our living room window, there was a bunch of it.

Finally at 11, I headed to bed...only to have to get up less then 10 minutes later because the damn dog had to pee already! And again at 2:30 a.m. Bill of course snored right through the dogs whining so I had to get up and take her out, I was NOT happy. I also wasn't happy when at 6:20 this morning Miss Bree decided she needed to get up. I tried to coax her to go back to sleep, she declined my offer. So I took her to the couch, flipped on her shows, and I headed out to make my coffee. I returned w/coffee to see Bree almost back to sleep on the couch. Why didn't she do that BEFORE I made my coffee so I could have gone back to bed too? Meanie. So now I've had my coffee, and I'm debating on if I wanna try to move her to bed and risk waking her, or if I wanna try to squeeze my fat ass onto the couch with her and see if I can doze back off for a bit...

I'll post more later...Toodles

OMG! I'm so sorry! I'm glad we don't have tornados here (even though we did have a fluke one in SLC a decade ago-it even killed a couple of people.) Why do the little ones torture us like this? Ava did the same thing last night! :/ Hope you have a better night tonight! Get some rest!

SOOO sorry! That being said... I love a good storm. As long as no one gets hurt.. I could stare up at storm filled skies all night...

Blessings!
